Add extranet user

To grant extranet access to an external user, the client entity must first be created on the platform.

Next, a specific process must be followed :

IT Manager actions

  1. Add the user as a guest in Active Directory.
  2. Assign the user to the D360 external group in Active Directory.

Once the client has been added to Active Directory and assigned a permission group, a notification will automatically be sent to the client.

Synchronization time

  1. There is an automatic synchronization between Active Directory and D360 every two hours (e.g., at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, etc.).
  2. After the synchronization, the user will appear under the “Extranet Access” tab of the client’s form.

Admin actions

  1. The admin user can then navigate to the client’s form, open the “Extranet User” tab
  2. And add the extranet user in the list.

Extranet user access

Once added, the extranet user can log into the portal using the same URL as internal user and their Microsoft account credentials to access the client’s entity information.
